I have worked three or more jobs, lived with slobs in a nice house. I have put in too many hours, done all the chores for a house of four grown ups. i have painted redecorated. Packed, moved, even relocated to other states. I’m down to earth and it don’t take much to make me happy. I like to stay busy and keep my mind occupied as well as multitask. Can you keep up? Do you have my work ethic drive and integrity? Do you give it your all? My ex’s are my friends, it takes a lot to make me jealous. I have a coffee addiction, starbucks in particular triple venti moca hot even in the middle of summer, I don’t care.

I love tv, computers and my two kittens. They are onry as hell though. I use to have a black lab but I lost her and a few friends when I moved to the city. I’m a city boy who loves to drive.

I’m intelligent and love a challenge. I do website design and programming freelance. I have a 9-5 job at an IT company in downtown chicago. I can cook and basically follow the instructions and measure. I’m not materialistic and I have gym membership. I can go out on the town a few nights a week.

So why am I single? Is it partly because in the city most guys would rather play the game instead of being in a relationship? The last few real dates I had the guys were more into themselves then paris hilton. I dated one guy for a year but we clearly didn’t have the same drives and perception of the quality of life we were willing to work for. I play the nice guy because I am, that also means I’m prone to second guessing myself. I’m self taught with some college education. Sometimes I feel like the smart or successful ones will look down on the things that I find are my core beliefs. Some of them didn’t have to work that hard to get where they are, their parents did. I do it for myself. I don’t spend all my free time at a bar. I love to go to the beach. I am also in no way bashful of who I am or my opinions. If you see me on the street maybe you should say hi. Maybe you should give the boy next door a try. Let down your guard and your preconceived notions.
