Hello everybody…

hope the holidays were as good to you as they were for me.

I never like to talk about good things before they happen or during i believe its bad luck. I like to wait it our and see what happens next. So, for starters i been dating this guy since october who has become my world. I actually have only been home a limited number of times since we got together. I just pick up some clothes and smuggle them into my bookbag to nest at his place. He is awesome, smart, latino, down to earth, educated and sexy! I took him to techcocktail in november with my brother. He’s met my mom and and brother and passed with flying colors. What’s not to like about him. So for all of you reading my blog and seeing only the negative, its not only that way with me. I am very easy to please. Sometimes, I’m too smart for my own good. and, i have a few things of my own to work on.

Speaking of that i made it to the gym the first of the year but have missed my last three trips due to a soreness in my lower back which kills me in the morning. I take some painkiller in the morning. I’m hoping it will go away soon, i really am excited about working out again. My new year’s resolution is going to the gym, cutting back on coffee (triple venti mocas to be specific), cutting back on pop, and getting my freelance business off the ground as soon as i find a direction.

You ever get a great idea from someone who seems like they are the last person to be giving ideas?  I talked to a guy about my career and he suggested i study for the CCNA. He said i could use books labs and get cheap equipment, and that it would look good on my resume and upgrade my career. I looked into it and he was spot on. I can change my career path from network administrator to network engineer. Going from the customer service and hands on training part of IT to building and securing networks. Yes, it sounds a little lame but the pay is good, its demanding and high stress and those are the thins that make me strive. I been studying for my ccna and have hit a roadblock of not having the proper equipment for a lab study. I did try boson’s software but i cant seem to get the passwords or device names changed so i guess ill setup a cheap test lab. I put in an ebay bid for this company to ship the stuff for me on feb 15th. I made it halfway through the first of two books for studying before i hit that roadblock.

I am also working on updating my sites and making this year a banner year for my websites. I will be taking on various freelance projects and getting some writers for a few of my sites, if you are interested in gay culture, television or internet technology please contact me to contribute to my websites. I’m also proud to state that i am on page one in google for a few of my own key terms ! My banner site betterwebservices.com will be celebrating its fourth year! We have been up and running with singlehop.com for almost a year now. Our server has NEVER gone down unless it was a planned outage that i knew about in advanced! how many providers can say that ? They are a great team over there and i wish them only the best in the next year.

In regards to my 9-5 our company got sold right before christmas to a company in the UK. The new owner came by for a few weeks and we talked about how the company works and some of the iniatives i have been working on to save people time and money. Out of that change we got a great new direction, some brilliant minds, and some much needed structure to our organization. I am going to be changing gears in the next few weeks from doing various billing manager functions to more quality control, training and documentation. It is an exciting move and have been with the company for three years can say that we are in good hands.

Look for more articles this year from me across the board. They will be condensed and cross posted here starting at the end of february. I believe when someone does a personal site such as this one, its with the purpose of people finding out more about them. I am a lot of things, so i feel that posting a snippit of some of the other articles i write will allow you to learn more about me. I look forward to keeping in touch with my current friends as well as expanding my social and business circles.
